Upaya Penurunan Stunting Melalui Peningkatan Gizi Pada Ibu Hamil Dengan Anemia
Abstract
Health development program in Indonesia is currently prioritized in efforts to improve the health status of mothers and children. Data from the Millineum Challenge Corporation (MCA) in Indonesia, there are 8.9 million Indonesian children experiencing growth disorders. That means there is one in three children in Indonesia of short stature due to stunting. Stunting cases in Indonesia are even higher than other countries in Southeast Asia, The purpose of this health education is to increase knowledge, change the attitudes and behaviors of mothers to understand stunting and nutrition in pregnant Counseling activity is held 3 times during pregnancy or in accordance with the results of the facilitator's agreement with the participants. The material in this meeting is about stunting, anemia in pregnancy and nutrition for pregnant. end of meeting, pregnancy exercises are performed. The meeting time is adjusted to the readiness of mothers, with a length of meeting time of 120 minutes including pregnancy exercises 15-20 minutes. This activity was carried out in village Tangunan Puri, Mojokerto Regency. September to November 2019. Result of health education that has been done is that pregnant women are enthusiastic because the material provided is new to mothers responding well, because they think anemia is normal for pregnant women, even though if a pregnant woman is left with anemia will have an adverse effect on the fetus and mother its own. The results achieved from this activity are an increase in understanding of pregnant women about stunting in pregnant women with anemia and nutrition in pregnant women. The activity was carried out due to maternal and child health problems in Indonesia. Stunting is a future danger for socialization to the public since 1000 days of birth, so health education about stunting should be given at the time of marriage and preconception so that pregnant.
