Abstract

Fatigue can occur due to workload that never decreases, doing these activities repeatedly or monotonous every day and without any breaks. Work fatigue can be caused by several things such as workload, work period, room temperature and monotony. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between monotonous work with fatigue in workers. This research is a type of quantitative analytic research with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study was 48 convection workers with a sample of 37 people, the sample was taken by simple random sampling method. The study was conducted from September to November 2019. Measurements were carried out using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Pearson.’s Correlation. Based on the results of the study it was found that almost all workers experienced moderate monotonous levels (91.9%) and also experienced high levels of fatigue (89.2%). Statistical test results show that there is a relationship between monotonous work with fatigue in workers, with a very strong relationship and a positive direction (p-value : 0,001; r: 0,867).Overcoming boredom can be done by calming down, doing work rotation, doing relaxation techniques and listening to music.
